BI Forge — Enterprise AI Analytics Platform
Designed and built an enterprise-wide BI platform giving every employee access to role-filtered dashboards or plain-English data queries backed by live SQL. Role-based access via Azure AD, an AI Prompt Studio for natural language → SQL → visual, and a pipeline health panel powered by Dagster.

Built a 7-stage AI-assisted pipeline that takes a dashboard visual from stakeholder requirements to a production Power BI artifact — with live data validation, automated quality checks, and a formal sign-off gate built into every stage.

Data Detective — AI Data Quality Diagnostic Tool
Built a chat interface that autonomously traces dbt lineage, runs live SQL, and diagnoses data quality issues in minutes — naming the root cause and fix owner so analysts don’t have to manually navigate the DAG. Covers both active dbt repositories.

AFE Portfolio Executive Dashboard
Built a fully self-contained Power BI HTML Content visual giving executive leadership real-time visibility into AFE capital project budgets, committed spend, CIP balances, and schedule slippage — with 8 KPI cards, 5 collapsible detail tables, and responsive layouts across all viewport sizes.

SCADA Disposal Facility Volumes Dashboard
Designed and built a self-contained HTML dashboard for monitoring disposal facility volumes, utilization, and skim oil recovery across all regions. Includes reactive filters, color-coded utilization thresholds, and a 6-month forward forecast — refreshed daily via a Python script.

Labour & Chemical Cost Dashboards — TRE Chem
Built two linked Power BI HTML visuals for monitoring labour and chemical treatment costs at TRE Chem facilities. Features 16 KPI cards, automated anomaly alerting, employee-level drill-down, cost-per-barrel efficiency tracking, and a light/dark theme toggle.

Chemical Logistics Operations Dashboard
Built a live FastAPI operations dashboard covering dispatch, drivers, and executive views for the chemical logistics business, alongside a parallel Power BI DAX rebuild. Root-caused a join fan-out bug that had inflated a cost KPI to $17.3B and led a full three-tab filter audit that corrected mismatched region and employee scoping across every chart.

EHS Compliance Dashboard & RLS Security Pattern
Replaced a static, offline safety-compliance report with a live dbt-backed dashboard, then piloted the platform’s first row-level-security admin pattern — scoping what each viewer can see by business unit, region, or site. Now the reference implementation being ported to every other dashboard, alongside a shared request-access/feedback pipeline used company-wide.

Workforce Turnover Analytics
Rebuilt a turnover-analytics report that had been failing on every request into a production tool tracking voluntary and involuntary attrition across seven termination categories. Root-caused and corrected a statistical artifact that was inflating attrition rates toward 900%+ for a business unit that was being wound down.

Disposal Facility Volumes — Incident Response
When a live disposal-volumes dashboard silently stopped updating, traced the failure three layers deep to an upstream dbt model that had been archived by another engineer unaware this app still depended on it directly — and restored the pipeline with zero downstream impact to any other report.

Financial & Volumes Reporting Platform
Own and maintain the company’s primary P&L and Volumes reporting platform — also the shared landing page for every internal analytics app. Delivered a filter-and-export audit across six report pages, fixed frozen column rendering and section-total logic, and capped a data anomaly that was displaying gross-margin percentages in the billions of percent.

Platform Reliability & Data Governance Initiative
Led a company-wide “rock solid” initiative across the analytics platform’s apps: audited test coverage app-by-app, stood up a pytest gate in CI so merges can no longer ship untested regressions, and authored a portable row-level-security admin pattern now rolling out platform-wide. In parallel, scoped and prioritized a 139-item audit moving business logic out of application code and into governed dbt SQL models.
